Loli almost being outlawed already happened. If I remember right a case went to a states court in the US and drawings not based on a real child and photo realistic is illegal. But as if now drawings are amendment protected

Interesting, I did not know that. I don't like lolicon so I honestly wouldn't have known either way, I just know that people were making a big deal about Loli being banned on Pixiv.

I do know for sure on Reddit that loli is super banned, because instances of people posting loli have taken down entire subs before. Fate GO was temporarily banned because someone posted an ingame screenshot of a loli character in a bikini.

Are you talking to me? What do you mean by "softcore" porn then? If it's genitals or penetration, then it's a type of porn. Usually loli porn like that gets BANNED or blacklisted.

It's not hard to see how making lolicon illegal would be pretty damn easy since it's already banned and also in a legally gray area in many places.

All I'm saying is that because loli is already a controversial issue that's outright banned/restricted in some places, it would be easier to make it illegal as opposed to regular waifus.

I don't think it's likely in Japan, where loli ecchi and hentai is a lot more unrestricted, but I could definitely picture it as a possibility in the western hemisphere.

Here's my example for what am I talking about.
Destiny Child, a gacha game, is a softcore porn idle simulator.

It's not unique since a majority of these "games" are like that, with different predatory ways for a fortune.
The point is, Softcore "porn" doesn't necessary mean flashing nipples or genitals. Ecchi is essentially that, with that at least, it can show pussy sometimes, what gacha games do is just desperate.

I guess the definition of softcore porn varies from person to person. My definition would be something with female nipples or nudity. I'd consider ecchi with nudity to be softcore porn, but I wouldn't consider Destiny Child to be softcore porn because there's no nudity or sloppy make out sessions.

If it does, all it'll do is just open the floodgates for people banning other stuff about anime that outrages them.

The problem with banning things is that the people who resort to it so they can push their "morals" onto others...they tend to develop a bad habit of not knowing when or where to fucking stop. One of many reasons why I'm so anti-government is because it tends to get filled with these types of people.
